Emily Giddings

Emily Giddings, RN, opened Giddie Skin Medspa to help those in the Mankato area refresh, restore and feel “giddie” about their skin. She specializes in non-surgical facial aesthetic injections and laser treatments, helping restore youth and health into aging and damaged complexions.
Emily’s story may be similar to yours: something was bothering her and draining her confidence. For Emily, that “something” was unwanted hair and problematic skin. She was introduced to laser treatments, and it changed her life.
Jessica Hollerich
Registered Nurse, Aesthetic Injector
For the last decade, Jessica has served in the medical field, predominantly as an Emergency Medicine nurse. Prior to nursing, she spent several years in the cosmetology industry. Finding ways to improve the overall look and health of her own dull, textured, and hyperpigmented skin sparked an interest in aesthetics, which led her to Giddie Skin. As an Aesthetic Nurse Injector, Jessica is now able to marry her interests and backgrounds into one exciting passion helping the beauty inside others shine through.
Dayna Comnick
Advanced Practice Esthetician
From a young age, Dayna always had a passion for skincare and makeup, which led her to attend cosmetology and aesthetics school in 2017.
With almost 7 years of experience in the industry, Dayna specializes in results-driven facials for specific skin concerns and is passionate about providing a relaxing spa-like experience for her clients. Her favorite part about the aesthetics industry is building relationships with clients, as well as helping them feel confident in their own skin.
Annika Tanhoff
Guest Services Specialist
Annika arrived at Giddie Skin seeking a fresh avenue to express her passion for beauty and skincare. Despite graduating from MSU with a Special Education degree in 2019 and enjoying her time working with clients of varying abilities, she felt a strong pull toward a career in the beauty and fashion industry. After three years as a personal stylist, Annika eagerly embraced the chance to further her knowledge by joining us at Giddie Skin. With her warm and welcoming personality, she greets every visitor with a smile and is dedicated to assisting our clients in any way possible!
Lauren Borchardt
Social Media and Marketing Coordinator
At the beginning of 2024, Lauren became a part of the Giddie team, injecting it with her vibrant and engaging marketing style. She's dedicated to keeping us informed about the latest trends while pursuing her Marketing degree at MSU, set to graduate in 2025. With previous experience gained from a semester-long internship and a strong desire for continuous learning, Lauren seamlessly integrated into our team. Despite her focus on marketing, she prioritizes customer service and values building relationships with clients.
Together, Emily, Jessica, and Dayna are determined to help others regain their confidence. With artistic eyes and skillful hands, they’re dedicated to providing the highest level of care and unsurpassed aesthetic outcomes. They pride themselves on building trust with their clients and are equipped with the technology to take results to the next level.
As registered nurses and certified specialists, under the medical directorship of Jinette Lais, APRN, DNP, Emily , and Jessica provide aesthetic consultations and medical injections for wrinkles; dermal fillers for volume replacement and enhancement; Kybella for submental fat reduction; Platelet Rich Plasma for facial rejuvenation and hair restoration; Laser treatments for skin rejuvenation and tightening. Along with Dayna, they provide permanent laser hair reduction, dermaplaning, chemical peels, and micro-needling to improve overall skin quality, clarity, and texture.

Jinette Lais
APRN, DNP, Medical Director
Jinette has worked in the medical field for over 20 years! She discovered her passion of helping others as a teenager in her role as a Certified Nursing Assistant. This led her down the path of nursing school. In 2009, she graduated from the College of Saint Benedict and subsequently gained most of her experience as a Registered Nurse in an Intensive Care Unit. In 2017, Jinette graduated from Viterbo University with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice. She has been working as a Nurse Practitioner locally in Mankato since that time. Her favorite thing about being a Nurse Practitioner is finding a point of connection with patients and making them feel better, whether that’s physically, mentally, or emotionally. When she’s not at work, Jinette loves spending time outdoors with her husband and their four kids.
